Primary Purpose of Position | The North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University Health Services Management program invites applications for a 9-month tenure track Assistant professor position. The primary responsibilities for this position include teaching, conducting research, and providing service to the health services management program, college, University, and the profession. The successful candidate is expected to teach (both face-to-face and distance) and develop courses in any one or combination of the fields of healthcare quality and patient safety, care coordination, and population health, among other related areas. The successful candidate member will also advise, mentor, and guide students in preparation for graduate school or the workforce. The individual will conduct research, publish in peer-reviewed journals, and disseminate the research through other means, including presenting at conferences, workshops, seminars, and in the community. |

Primary Function of Organizational Unit | As an 1890 land grant and doctoral-research University, North Carolina A&T State University enjoys a long-standing national reputation in learning, discovery, and engagement.
