The Department of Psychiatry at Tufts University School of Medicine and the Tufts Medical Center is recruiting Clinical Psychologist(s) for Inpatient Unit Psychiatry to work at the Lemuel Shattuck Hospital (LSH), a Massachusetts Public Health Hospital in Jamaica Plain. The Inpatient Psychiatry Units at LSH are comprised of five locked units, with a total of 94 patients. Each unit has a census of approximately 19 patients.
The Psychologist will conduct a range of behavioral health services to adults suffering from persistent and severe mental illnesses. Specific job duties include administration of standardized psychological and risk assessments, manualized group education for coping skills, competency restoration, skills training, etc.
