Job Description:  

Support the Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Directorate (A2) as the Targeting Intelligence Special Operations Theater Air Operations Squadron (SOTAOS) Training Advisor. responsible for instructional delivery of intelligence-related curriculum in support of targeting intelligence training requirements. The employee will create/modify syllabus, lesson plans, practical exercises, multimedia, and other training materials as needed for effective delivery to targeting intelligence personnel. In addition, the employee will instruct SOTAOS targeting intelligence personnel in accordance with developed training objectives and course materials. 

Job Duties Include (but not limited to):  

Targeting Intelligence Special Operations Theater Air Operations Squadron (SOTAOS) Training Advisor: 

• Responsible for instructional system design (ISD) of targeting intelligence-related curriculum. For evolving command requirements. 
• Create/modify syllabus, lesson plans, practical exercises, multimedia, and other training materials as needed for effective delivery to targeting intelligence personnel. 
• Instruct SOTAOS targeting intelligence personnel in accordance with developed training objectives and course materials. 

Required Skills & Experience:   

• Experience performing, supervising and training AFSC 1N8X1 OR 1N1X1 duties.
• Completion of the Targeting Analyst multi-course pipeline consisting of: the Targeting Analyst Course, the Target Coordinate Mensuration (TCM) Course, and the AFSC-awarding Collateral Damage Estimation (COE). 
• Completions of the Geospatial-Intelligence Targeting Course and Space Warfighter Intelligence Formal Training Unit (SWIFTU). 
• Experience performing Advanced Target Development {ATD) including consideration of target vulnerability. 
• Experience determining precise weapon(s) placement, consequences and hazards presented by weapons effects including recommendations on how to mitigate effects in compliance with rules of engagement (ROE) and law of war (LOW). 
• Exposure to supporting multi-domain mission planning. 
• Completed Combat Assessments (CA), performed Battle Damage Assessments (BDA), and Munitions Effectiveness Assessments (MBA) 
• Processed, exploited, and disseminated intelligence products and conducts analysis concerning threat countries or targets of interest via written and/or verbal means. 
• 10+ years hands-on targeting experience out of the last 12 years. 
• 5+ years hand-on experience in Instructor Methodology and Instructional Systems Design. 
• Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.

Desired Skills: 

• 3+ years of experience managing an Air Force Formal Training Program. 
• 2+ Years of general experience in the fields of Training and Education is highly desired. 

Education & Certifications:  

• Bachelor’s Degree is preferred

• Active TS/SCI Clearance is REQUIRED
