Job Summary:  Develops and maintains key relationships with insurance carriers to ensure reporting requirements and requests for information are completed in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Proactively requests policy values/data from insurance carrier partners for all enforce policies.
  • Reviews and analyzes data received to ensure accuracy and uploads into Client Reporting system.
  • Works independently to manage assigned workload and identify product and values related issues requiring additional attention and works independently to resolve.
  • Communicates issues to internal associates and works with carrier to resolve discrepancies.
  • Serves as a resource for other team members and assists with insurance related questions or issues.
  • Works in a team environment building partnerships across departments at Newport.
  • Takes ownership and initiative to ensure client expectations are met, including follow through, follow-up and understanding when and how to involve others.
  • Effectively collaborate with others, seeks/conveys information, initiates action, and adapts to change.
  • Works under pressure in a very fast-paced, demanding work environment

Required Education, Experience and Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university OR equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Must have advanced MS Office skills, especially in use of Excel.

Preferred (but not required) education or skills for this role

  • Mathematics, Accounting, Finance and Business backgrounds are a plus.
