This new global role is for a sharp commercial-minded candidate with proven ability to strategize and implement high-level training programs. The Technical Instructor Project Manager will plan the design, development and delivery of training across commercial business units, regions, and markets to support learning of Intralox products and technology. This includes developing training programs for onboarding as well as ongoing knowledge and skill development with engaging blended, interactive learning experiences.


The position requires project management skills and a strong mechanical aptitude to improve existing and develop new blended learning programs to support learning and development of our technical and commercial team members.


The Technical Instructor Project Manager will support sales growth and increasing customer value by training on Intralox's technologies. The unique benefits of our technologies will be considered a key part of all training developed.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the global technical training programs including new employee onboarding (technical and product training only), new product rollouts, and ongoing employee development.
  • Understand the audience, collaborate with subject matter experts, and use creativity and technology savviness to transform training into a blended, interactive learning experience for successful employee development.
  • Design, develop and deliver new blended learning programs, content, and coursework while providing feedback on learning enhancements.
  • Facilitate instructor led training (some stand alone and some as part of blended training) that promotes learning and participant engagement.
  • Create well-defined, effective learning objectives to develop storyboards and scripts as well as training content and assessments.
  • Apply instructional design theories and methods to produce high-quality training (digital, blended, and instructor-led).
  • Develop creative supporting materials (audio, video, games, etc.) to enable opportunities for employees to apply learning before, during and after training.
  • Facilitate train-the-trainer sessions to prepare for the delivery of blended learning programs.
  • Work closely with the E-Learning Developer to transition appropriate training to digital delivery.
  • Participate as an integral member of global Commercial Training Team.


Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree required, master's degree in a related field preferred.
  • 5 years of professional experience in the learning and development field.
  • Knowledge of curriculum development, learning technology, and learning principles.
  • Proven project management skills including planning, prioritizing, managing multiple tasks/projects and delivering results with tight deadlines.
  • Impressive track record of focusing on the needs of the business, working collaboratively, quickly forming a network of relationships, setting and achieving high standards, taking calculated risks, and learning from failure.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment with high levels of ambiguity and change.
  • Introspective, excellent communication skills, eager to grow and build skills.
