At the center of all this is Zendesk Design: a diverse group of designers, writers, photographers, producers, film makers, musicians, and strategists who are obsessed with making something great.Zendesk is looking for a Design Program Management Intern for this fall to help support global programs which enrich the external design community, attract designers to our team and products, and support our team with their professional development goals.Through partnering with our Product Design, Brand, and Design Operations teams, you will help us share our team's stories, engage with the broader design community, and attract top talent through content, events, and sponsorships.What you'll be doingDrive content strategy and curation of the Zendesk Creative team's social media accountsDesign a streamlined process for our external community newsletterSupport with execution of external Design Community events and sponsorshipsAudit community trends to inform programming for our global communitiesAttend design events and stay on top of key themes in the industryWork closely with our Design Program Management team to further grow and optimize our extraordinary team of designersWhat you bring to the roleA portfolio showcasing your experience and passion for design community (Ex: Creating and running a newsletter, producing design community events, writing design related content, creating design content for social media, etc)Currently or recently enrolled in a design, research, writing, or program management related program OR is recently transitioning into a career in designGood understanding of design and current topics of interest within the external design community.Ability to lead strategic and operational initiatives.Excellent organization, coordination, and communication skills.Curiosity and ability to learnStrong attention to detail - you sweat the details.Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, and Figma are a plusAuthorized to work in the United StatesPlease submit a link to your portfolio or work samples with your applicationAbout Zendesk - Champions of Customer ServiceZendesk started the customer experience revolution in 2007 by enabling any business around the world to take their customer service online.
