In this role at Target as a Senior AI Scientist, you will:

• Implement engineering solutions for data-driven applications

• Develop and deploy application based on Machine Learning, Deep Learning and Reinforcement Learning Algorithms etc.

• Communicate and partner with other engineering team members

• Participate in agile process of product development

• Review code developed by team

• Keep abreast of advances in technology

What were looking For:

• Participation In Target's summer internship

• M.S/Ph.D. or Bachelors in Computer Science, or in a related Math or Computer Engineering major (or equivalent work experience)

• 2+ years of experience in developing code in industry or equivalent school experience.

• Proficient in one or more of Java, Scala, Python, C++ or equivalent programming languages

• Experience working with Big Data Software like Spark, Hive, Hbase, Kafka

• Well versed with fundamentals of computer science, data structures and algorithms Applied Math and/or Statistics

• Familiarity with linear algebra, statistics, information theory or related mathematical domains Testing

• Ability to develop and execute processes for complete CI/CD pipelines

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Develop production quality code for algorithms

• Reliable production deployments

• Incorporate best engineering practices

• Works closely with fellow engineering team members in implementing data-driven products
