In this role at Target as a Senior AI Scientist, you will:
Implement engineering solutions for data-driven applications
Develop and deploy application based on Machine Learning, Deep Learning and Reinforcement Learning Algorithms etc.
Communicate and partner with other engineering team members
Participate in agile process of product development
Review code developed by team
Keep abreast of advances in technology
What were looking For:
Participation In Target's summer internship
M.S/Ph.D. or Bachelors in Computer Science, or in a related Math or Computer Engineering major (or equivalent work experience)
2+ years of experience in developing code in industry or equivalent school experience.
Proficient in one or more of Java, Scala, Python, C++ or equivalent programming languages
Experience working with Big Data Software like Spark, Hive, Hbase, Kafka
Well versed with fundamentals of computer science, data structures and algorithms Applied Math and/or Statistics
Familiarity with linear algebra, statistics, information theory or related mathematical domains Testing
Ability to develop and execute processes for complete CI/CD pipelines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Develop production quality code for algorithms
Reliable production deployments
Incorporate best engineering practices
Works closely with fellow engineering team members in implementing data-driven products
