Job/Internship Description
Printpack is seeking a Human Resources Intern for a minimum period of six months.

This internship will provide a unique opportunity to work directly with the Plant Human Resources Department and learn about talent management, training/organizational development, associate relations, compensation and benefits, and engagement initiatives. This position is located in Grand Prairie, Texas .

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead or assist in department projects such as:

    o New hire and benefits presentation

    o Printpack organization announcements

    o Organize community service events

    o Generate reports from Workday

    o Filing/Tracking of records

    o General clerical duties as required

  • Assist with recruiting efforts for both Grand Prairie locations

  • Investigate ways to better deploy resources and change processes to improve the intern experience

Minimum Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled junior or senior pursuing their bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related fields

  • Ability to work between 30-40 hours per week

  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Preferred Requirements and Skills:

  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, prioritize and manage multiple projects with seamless follow-through

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail and organization skills

  • Enhanced people skills with the ability to work well with a wide variety of personalities

  • Aptitude to handle and protect confidential information

  • Capacity to learn quickly and effectively multi-task

  • Ability to successfully function in a team environment
