Position

The Engineering Intern will have an opportunity to collaborate with Engineering team members, managers, and mentors to help support initiatives for the organization. You'll gain technical knowledge and skills in a professional environment, while developing business relationships through training, mentoring, and ongoing feedback.

Responsibilities

  • Applying classroom knowledge to support the technology team
  • Collaborate with business partners on key deliverables
  • Analyze current engineering operations and initiate efforts to improve process efficiencies
  • Assist in special projects, initiatives, and ad-hoc report and analysis requests

Required Qualifications

  • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment, thick critically to solve problems, collaborate across groups and different levels of management
  • Must have excellent attention to detail and proven ability to work with detailed information/data
  • Strong written, oral communication, and interpersonal skills

Education

Preferred areas of study: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or other related areas of study.

Computer Skills

  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and Project) preferred
