KBI's Particle Characterization Core is in search of its next scientist or engineer who will learn the fine art of particle characterization. The new associate will actively participate in a dynamic laboratory environment, learning cutting-edge analytical techniques, developing data analysis tools, establishing direct relationships with clients, and continuing to build a world-class specialty analytical business.

Job Requirements:

• Perform particle characterization techniques such as: LO, MFI, NTA, Automated Raman Microscopy.
• Design and execution of experiments.
• Attention to detail in documentation of experiments in electronic laboratory notebooks.
• Final results documented in technical reports detailing sample analysis and results.
• Effective communication skills and teamwork are essential in this team-based group.
• Troubleshooting instrumentation and processes.
• Strong willingness to learn new techniques.
• Adherence to laboratory safety guidelines.
• Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned while meeting client deadlines.

Education:

• B.S. degree and 0-2 years of related experience.

Salary Range:

40,000 - 60,000K

Salary range provided per current averages and expectations. The salary and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.
