Job/Internship Description
Finance and Administrative Support Intern
Our team is growing and we are seeking a Part-Time Finance and Administrative Support Intern located at our McLean office. This is an ideal position for a self motivated individual who possesses accounting and bookkeeping support functions with the desire and energy to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, growth environment.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide support with Unanet Time and Expense System
  • Provide support with Accounts Payable in Deltek Cost Point (CP)
  • Provide support with Accounts Receivable in Deltek CP
  • Provide payroll support
  • Provide administrative support
General Unanet Time and Expense System primary functions:
  • Maintain Time and Expense system including routine data changes
  • Create employee's master files for new hires and inactivate for terminated employees
  • Process credit card reconciliation including creating Expense Reports for each credit card
  • Process employees' Expense Reports for payment including printing all supporting receipts, reviewing them for accuracy, sorting them in proper order for vouchers from Deltek
  • Review Travel Expense Reimbursements (TERs) including searching for proper per-diem rates, printing supporting documentation, and reviewing for accuracy
  • Contact employees regarding discrepancies or questions
  • File copies of employees' pay slips with supporting documentation
Administrative support primary functions:
  • Handling a variety of office tasks to include filing, generating reports and presentations
  • Maintaining office supply inventory and performing market research for new supplies
  • Filing and documentation support
  • Answering and directing phone calls
  • Managing incoming and outgoing mail
  • Assisting in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
  • Other tasks as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
  • Must be advanced in excel and Microsoft office
  • Experience with Balance Sheets/Income Statements
  • Pursing a Degree in Finance/Accounting Management
