McAdams is currently looking for a Construction Manager to join our Construction Administration group in our Durham/RTP, NC and Charlotte, NC office locations.
Basic qualifications:
5-10 years’ relevant experience in Land Development and utility construction
Must be willing to travel (day trips) for project progress inspections.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Review shop drawings
Conduct NPDES inspections
Conduct Stormwater BMP Inspections
Conduct Water & Sewer inspections
Hydrant Flow testing
Perform Lighting Surveys
Site ADA Surveys
Understand Project Specifications and Construction Plans
Perform site inspections and document progress and plan compliance for Client
Process Pay applications from Contractors on behalf of Client
Conduct Pre-construction/Progress meetings on behalf of Client
Communicate job progress and issues effectively to Client/Market Sector PM/Construction Admin Director
Prepare Bid Packages, Administer Bid Process though selection of Contractor
Knowledgeable in Project Management and Scheduling Software (Procore, PIM, MS Project etc.)
