Job Description
We are seeking an entry level Landscape Architect to join our Planning + Design Group in our Charlotte office.  Seeking self-motivated candidates with a passion for landscape design. While initially an entry level position, candidates will be able to go as far as their skills, creativity and work ethic will take them. Responsibilities for entry level Landscape Architect include: provide cad drafting support in preparation of construction documents; planting designs; and site renderings for private, public and institutional projects. Under the leadership and instruction of our design leaders, the candidate will gain technical and practical experience on a wide range of project types. The successful candidate will interface with project design teams and be exposed to all facets of project delivery from inception through bidding and construction administration. Our work environment is both creative and dynamic so the optimal candidate will be eager to engage and possess excellent organizational and time management skills.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program
  • 0-2 years of work experience


 Skill requirements:
 
  • Strong design skills, conceptual planning and analysis
  • Good analytical and technical writing skills
  • Ability to communicate design concepts and ideas graphically, both digitally and by hand
  • Work under supervision of a project manager or senior-level team member
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Adobe suite programs.
  • Sketch up and GIS is a plus.
 Duties include, but are not limited to:
  1. Working within a team framework, as well as independently, on high profile mixed-use, residential, commercial, public and institutional projects.
  2. Preparation of drawings, graphics, reports and other submittal requirements
