Civil Engineer- Stormwater (Designer)

Job Description
We are currently seeking a Designer for our Water Resources Group in our Charlotte office.

Basic qualifications:
- Four year college degree in engineering with an emphasis on hydrology, hydraulics, and stormwater management.
- Preference will be given to those applicants who have obtained an EI (and are on the PE track), have 2 or more years’ experience in water resources and environmental design experience and have utilized ESRI GIS software.
Required experience:
- Design, analysis, and permitting of stormwater management facilities (BMP) for peak flow rate detention and water quality.
- Analysis of open channel systems and closed conduit drainage systems.
- Ability to work in AutoCAD and familiarity with standard H&H design/analysis software (HEC-HMS, Pond Pack, CivilStorm, HY-8)
Preferred experience:
- The ability to prepare riverine flooding analysis, prepare FEMA map revision packages, as well as previous experience with stream/wetland restoration projects and utilize HEC-RAS.
