Essential Job Duties | The focus of this class will be on developing familiarity with sections of the TOEFL (Reading, Listening, Speaking, Writing) and increasing English language and test- taking skills required to improve TOEFL scores. By practicing test-taking skills, TOEFL strategies, and a review of English grammar, students will increase their readiness to take the TOEFL iBT. Students will take numerous practice tests and systematically review the results of each. RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to: 1. Teaching 4 in-person class hours weekly 2. Communicating with the program coordinator and IEP director 3. Providing extensive assistance and support for student questions regarding the TOEFL test 4. Maintaining and submitting attendance reports on a weekly basis 5. Participating in staff meetings, as requested. 6. An option open to participate in program activities both inside and outside the classroom (excursions, professional development, meals). This is unpaid time. |
