Job Description
Overview

This Process Improvement Analyst is responsible for supporting the business in the development of on-going process and policy assessments, evaluations, compliance, and improvement to support business and Bank initiatives and strategies. This position assist with evaluating operational processes and data in collaboration with department staff using Lean Six Sigma methodologies or similar discipline. This position is within the Strategy Office division focused in supporting enterprise-wide projects.

*This is a hybrid opportunity role in Raleigh, NC.


Responsibilities

  • Process Improvement - Analyzes, identifies, and makes recommendations on areas of improvement within business processes and operational data. Leads the development of policies and procedures to ensure consistent implementation and governance. Ensures processes are focused on improved efficiency, cost-effectiveness and/or internal and external customer service while balancing the Bank's risk appetite.
  • Project Management - May support project manager on large process improvement projects. May lead consultative projects with an impact across the department. Aligns project strategies and results with wider organizational needs. Determines methods to gauge and report on project success.
  • Collaboration - Consults and partners with business leaders to plan projects and programs. Provides complex analysis and decision support to business on key priorities. Interacts and collaborates with multiple disciplines to gather information, perform analysis, and makes recommendations to management to drive continuous improvement. Communicates clearly with management, associates, and wider business units to implement change across the Bank.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Prior banking experience, Process improvement, consulting or project management

OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Prior banking experience, Process improvement, consulting or project management

Additional Required Qualifications:

  • Process improvement experience
  • Green Belt, Black Belt, or Lean Six Sigma required
  • Aris Enterprise Software (process modeling software) required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Large Financial Institution experience preferred
  • Project Management certification preferred
