Position Summary | The primary purpose of this position is to provide building trade services to the University's Academic and Auxiliary Services Buildings. These trades include, but are not limited to: carpentry, painting, locksmithing, plastering, masonry, roofing, and other various repairs ranging from routine and unskilled to highly skilled. The successful candidate must possess a working knowledge of standard practices in building trades, new construction and renovation/remodeling. Must be able to measure accurately; skilled at using power tools and hand tools used in the trades; skilled at painting, caulking and repairing holes in walls. Must be able to complete work order requests for assigned trades in a safe and efficient manner and close assigned work orders using the Team Dynamix System. Job may require other related building duties to be assigned. Employee must work "on call" during the approved appointed scheduled dates and times when requested. This also includes on callback work if needed. |
