Job Summary

Position Summary: Provides training and compliance support in the area(s) of Patient Experience, Infection Prevention, Safety, and regulatory compliance for Environmental Services and related Compass Group, NA programs. Position will work in conjunction with each entity's Unit Director to create a thorough training and development plan to ensure full regulatory and contractual compliance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Patient Experience
* Perform regular PE audits (Positive Impressions or the equivalent); participate in bi-annual hospital audits
* Create regular reporting structure for region, including, but not limited to, current patient experience scores, %ile rankings, comments, scoring trends, and industry trends.
* Actively update region on innovative practices that will add value to current programs
* Joint documented rounding with PE counterpart at each facility.
* Participate, where available, on PFAC committees for region
* Plan, design and execute training programs for hourly and supervision staff. Work collaboratively with Department Director of Training and our Corporate Director of Training. Design group programs at least bi-monthly.
* Participate, where/when needed, in QBR's for entity

* Work with each site leader to regularly influence metrics and update site GEMBA or Lean programs

Infection Prevention
* Collect IP dashboard data from each acute care entity and compile for monthly reporting.
* Train and support onsite EVS leadership in IP compliance, inclusive of but not limited to: UV utilization, ATP process, HPC observations, perioperative training and compliance, isolation cleaning, and glow germ practices (or the equivalent of)
* Participate in rounding, as applicable, with site IP director or leader as representative of Environmental Services and Linen


Education, Training and Experience: Required
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Advancements
* Advanced certifications: CHES-P, CPXP, CSCT, OSHA CES, Lean Six Sigma Certification.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

* 5-7 years in-servicing experience in customer service training
* Hospitality and healthcare experience
* 5-7 years experience in service-oriented operations
* Good coaching and on the job training skills required
* Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task essential
* Presentation skills
