The Demand Generation Senior Associate is responsible for assisting in the creation and execution of marketing campaigns that generate leads and revenue for RSM. This individual will collaborate closely with their leadership, marketing strategy and sales teams, using data and analytics to plan, measure and enhance campaign performance. Key to this individual's success is an understanding of modern omni-channel marketing campaigns, the ability to progress prospects through the buyer journey and the ability to use data to measure campaign success. This individual will be responsible for assisting in the planning and execution of campaigns across our lines of business and industries and project management to facilitate and ensure effective delivery of demand generation marketing efforts across the firm.

Essential Duties:

Demand generation campaign planning:

  • Working with the Demand Generation Director, design and direct multi-channel demand generation campaigns that drive conversions/lead acquisition (MQL, SQL) in key business area
  • Co-develop marketing messaging and user experiences aligned to specific audiences and buyer journeys
  • Prepare campaign strategy documentation
  • Identify campaign-specific target audiences, including target accounts, or other CRM related lists
  • Build out the buyer journeys and messaging to support the campaign strategy
  • Brief the creative, digital and event marketing teams on campaign strategies, ensuring clear understanding of tactical plans and deliverables
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure the right pipeline and business development team is educated and prepared for campaign follow up.

Campaign execution and performance management:

  • Use data to evaluate campaign effectiveness, with a focus on iteration
  • Monitor specific campaign progress against goals, including lead generation and revenue growth; suggest course corrections and opportunities
  • Incorporate feedback from sales and pipeline development teams to enhance campaign conversion rates
  • Be accountable to key marketing metrics (pipeline, leads, etc.) associated with their campaigns and the overall program framework
  • Work with creative, digital and event marketing to optimize campaigns based on performance metrics
  • Identify and maximize co-marketing opportunities within campaigns for relevant strategic business alliances (SBAs)
  • Keep the enterprise marketing team informed of program and campaign performance and contribution needs
  • Monitor and track campaign budget and expenses

Project management:

  • Support the Demand Generation team in driving a consistent approach to campaign planning across the demand generation program framework
  • Works closely with creative, digital and event marketing to project manage tactics from planning through execution

Other

  • Participates in all appropriate marketing learning and development to build skills and capabilities
  • Participates, as appropriate, in cross-firm projects related to marketing and demand generation capability development and enhancements
  • Engages with various members of the Lines of Business and Industry teams to help educate teams related to the Marketing Program Framework

Minimum Qualifications:

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree required

TECHNICAL/SOFT SKILLS

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience using Adobe Analytics, Google Platform tools, Marketo, SEM Rush, CRM, AEM and Social Media tools preferred
  • Excellent project management, critical thinking, and organizational skills
  • Ability to learn new subject areas quickly

EXPERIENCE

  • 3-5 years of demand generation campaign planning experience in B2B environment, preferably technology
  • Proven understanding of marketing and demand generation
  • General knowledge of content strategy and digital marketing channel strategy
  • Agency or matrixed environment, preferred

  • Awareness and understanding of various marketing channels
  • Strong sense of ownership and determination to get things done
  • Highly collaborative and able to work within a team to achieve stated goals

Compensation Range: $75,400 - $124,300
