Job Description

The primary purpose of the HR Manager is to provide consultative support and partnership to the leaders and Krispy Kremers across the various Corporate Functions at our Support Centers and manufacturing sites to ensure delivery of business results while driving people strategies. This role leads activities and ensures successful achievement of objectives related to employee engagement and culture, workforce management, performance management, talent development, succession planning, diversity and inclusion, communications, and change management. This role proactively diagnoses issues and opportunities and takes necessary action to bring timely resolution. To be successful, the individual in this role must influence business leaders and build strong, cross-functional relationships. In addition, this person must have strong knowledge of the HR function and associated HR policies, approaches, and environmental constraints, as well as relevant HR laws and regulations.


HERE'S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Collaborate with Human Resource cross-functional resources to ensure compliance and alignment with company protocols and ensure implementation.
  • Facilitate large scale talent hiring events.
  • Develop proactive strategies for talent gaps.
  • Engagement: Consult and partner with functional leaders in developing strategies that maintain and improve engagement and retention in support of our company culture.
  • Talent Development: Foster a culture of personal and professional development across assigned shop locations as well as ensure a deep bench of talent for succession planning and future leadership potential.
  • Employee Relations: Provide subject matter expertise, coaching and guidance to managers and Krispy Kremers regarding employment issues in such areas as policy and procedure interpretation/application, dispute resolution, corrective action, leaves of absence, harassment, and terminations. Coordination of employee relations/recognition related events. Conduct internal investigations as needed.
  • Compliance: Review, interpret, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, and company policies and procedures.
  • Participate in special projects related to HR initiatives and where designated.
  • Strong project management skills are a must.


YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field.
  • 8 to 10 years progressive HR experience demonstrating increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Demonstrated experience influencing executive level leadership on HR related matters.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally.
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects meeting time and cost commitments.
  • Willingness to travel 15-20% of the time.
