Job Posting:

The primary responsibility of this position is to provide support to the greater Talent Acquisition department while also driving various initiatives and projects surrounding the Internship Program & Campus Career Fair Initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment Support

  • Manage the vacancy request process, opening job requisitions within Workday.
  • Process candidate expense reports from interview travel upon receipt of proper documentation (ie. Expense form, receipts, and address information for mailing).
  • Manage the pre-employment process by running background checks, monitoring drug screens, and acting as liaison between candidates and recruiter
  • Assist with posting positions on external job boards and/or University career sites.
  • Assist with Candidate Interview Scheduling & Provide Travel Booking Support, upon Recruiter Request.
  • Ensure new hires are completely processed in Workday, equipment is ordered, and managers, business partners, and all supporting departments are prepared for day one
  • Conduct Day One Experience/ New Hire Onboarding, ensuring collection of I-9 documentation is compliant.
  • Create and edit presentations, project plans, reports, and produce ad hoc recruitment dashboard data.
  • Process, submit and monitor Talent Acquisition invoices through Coupa in a timely manner.
  • Assist Global Mobility & Fragomen Partner with VISA Perm Process.

Intern Programming

  • Summer Intern Program - Evolve, execute, schedule, measure effectiveness, own the budget and plan for future intern programming, which includes assessing organizational needs, building the requisitions, conducting screenings, hiring, processing of interns to include onboarding and overall program management University relations including career fair participation and building/expanding partnerships.
  • University relations including career fair participation, classroom visits, and building/expanding partnerships.

Skills for Success:

  • Proven project management skills and comfort with providing timely and clear reporting of progress, data and roadblocks
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to communicate at all levels of an organization
  • Coordination of multiple tasks with effective time management.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle employee related issues with discretion.
  • Strong working knowledge with MS Office Suite to include MS Outlook.

Experience/Education:

  • Minimum 2-4 years Human Resources or Talent Acquisition generalist experience
  • Minimum BS/BA or equivalent
  • General knowledge of recruitment processes and platforms
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems is preferred
