Essential Job Duties | The mission of the Department of Animal Science is to provide high quality, relevant education and training for about 750 undergraduate and 120 graduate students to develop new knowledge through research in selected areas to improve efficiency and sustainability of animal agriculture, biomedical science, and nonagricultural animal management to disseminate relevant research based knowledge to a varied clientele for problem solving, enhancing food system. Duties and Responsibilities The Department of Animal Science at NC State University invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Scholar position. This position, under the direction of Dr. Jicai Jiang, will focus on developing and deploying computational methods and software for large-scale genotype-phenotype analysis in farm animals.
