Job Description

Krispy Kreme's Sr. Director, Data and Analytics is part of the global IT leadership team and is responsible for defining and implementing the data architecture, data governance, data engineering, integration and interoperability strategy and solutions, data analytics, and data privacy across the organization. You will also collaborate with other IT leaders, business stakeholders, and external partners to deliver data-driven solutions that support our strategic goals and objectives.


A TASTE OF WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Develop and execute the data strategy and roadmap for the organization, aligning with the business vision and priorities.
  • Establish and maintain the data architecture, data governance, data engineering, integration and interoperability standards, policies, and best practices.
  • Lead and manage a team of data architects, data engineers, data analysts, and data scientists, providing guidance, coaching, and performance management.
  • Oversee the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of data platforms, data pipelines, data warehouses, data lakes, data marts, data catalogs, and data quality tools.
  • Enable and support data integration and interoperability across various systems, applications, and data sources, both internal and external.
  • Drive and deliver data analytics solutions that provide actionable insights and recommendations for business decision making and optimization.
  • Ensure data privacy and security compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
  • Manage data-related projects, budgets, vendors, and contracts.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in data and analytics.
  • Communicate and present data strategy, solutions, and results to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Act as a member of the global IT leadership team, reporting to the CIO, and contributing to the overall IT strategy and direction.


YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in data and analytics, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing data strategy and solutions that deliver business value and outcomes.
  • Expertise in data architecture, data governance, data engineering, integration and interoperability, data analytics, and data privacy.
  • Proficiency in various data platforms, tools, and technologies, such as SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Tableau, Power BI, etc.
  • Strong leadership, management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a global, matrixed, and fast-paced environment.
