Job Summary:
As a Treasury Analyst, you will be responsible for managing the financial assets and liabilities of the company. Your primary objective will be to ensure optimal cash flow management, mitigate financial risks, and maximize returns on investments. You will work closely with various departments within the organization to forecast cash needs, execute financial transactions, and develop strategies to optimize the company's overall financial position.

Responsibilities:
  • Cash Management: Monitor daily cash balances, forecast cash flows, and execute cash positioning strategies to ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs.
  • Banking Relationships: Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions, including opening/closing accounts, negotiating fees, and optimizing banking services.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks such as interest rate risk, foreign exchange risk, and credit risk through hedging strategies and other risk management techniques.
  • Investment Management: Analyze investment opportunities, assess risk-return profiles, and execute investment transactions to optimize the company's investment portfolio.
  • Debt Management: Monitor debt levels, interest rates, and debt covenants. Assist in evaluating financing options, refinancing debt, and managing debt-related risks.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze periodic reports on cash flow, liquidity, and financial risk exposure. Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on financial analysis.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry regulations, and accounting standards related to treasury operations.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline treasury processes, enhance efficiency, and implement best practices in cash management and risk mitigation.
  • Special Projects: Participate in ad hoc projects related to treasury initiatives, such as mergers and acquisitions, capital raising activities, or system implementations.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in treasury, finance, or related roles.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis.
  • Knowledge of treasury management systems (TMS) and banking platforms.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of financial markets, banking products, and regulatory requirements.
