This position is responsible for driving the implementation of the Electrolux People strategy and People delivery model, supporting the teams in our Parts Regional Distribution Centers. In collaboration with the Senior Director, Human Resources, the HR Business Partner will coach, collaborate and partner with the managers and employees to provide solutions for business, people, and organizational issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide HR business partnering and HR service delivery support for Parts Distribution Centers in Fletcher, NC and Reno, NV.
  • Implementation of People strategies and programs.
  • Support the business leaders and employees with advice and counsel, ensuring the integration of People strategy with the business strategy.
  • Oversee and ensure recruiting/talent acquisition activities are aligned with talent strategy and meeting business needs for client group.
  • Identify and execute strategies and actions for well-being, code of conduct, discipline, performance, Diversity & Inclusion and compliance with labor law.
  • Provide advice and monitor discipline and performance concerns.
  • Identify gaps and propose and implement changes necessary to cover safety risks.
  • Ensure compliance to company policies and procedures, government agencies, and all employment related laws. Coordinate and support workplace legal activities, as required.
  • Identify and drive employee engagement activities for the distribution centers, including surveys, focus groups, action plans, communication, etc.
  • Actively participate in special projects for the Distribution Leadership Team and the People function, ensuring alignment with business needs, best practices, and emerging trends.
  • Bilingual- English/ Spanish strongly preferred.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (Minimum Qualifications):

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of Human Resources experience, including experience as a business partner executing people strategies
  • HR experience in a manufacturing company partnering with both exempt and hourly employees
  • Knowledge of HR practices, procedures, laws and regulations with experience thoroughly investigating and recommending resolution to employee and leadership concerns
  • Action oriented with a focus on results

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and build effective relationships at all levels of the organization

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to operate computer keyboard and telephone. The employee frequently is required to drive, walk and sit. The employee is occasionally required to stand. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus.
