Job Description

This role will support the design, implementation and communication of the Company's executive and broad-based compensation strategy, plans, policies, and programs to ensure alignment with overall business strategy and external peers. To be successful this role will partner with stakeholders throughout the company including but not limited to Human Resources, Finance, and IT to drive results.

Summary of Responsibilities:

Compensation Committee Meetings

  • Responsible for supporting the preparation of Board meeting materials and related tasks including meeting scheduling and coordination, meeting minutes, and delivery of materials to Committee members via board portal

Executive Compensation Benchmarking and Competitive Analysis

  • In partnership with divisional compensation leaders, review executive positions and survey matches
  • Assist in the preparation of the annual competitive analysis executives and senior leadership

Proxy/External Reporting

  • Responsible for supporting the preparation of the CD&A (Compensation Discussion & Analysis) within the Company's annual proxy statement as well as related compensation and benefits disclosures
  • Analyze proxy filings to obtain market intelligence on the practices of our competitors and assess competitiveness of executive officer compensation

Compensation and Benefit Programs

  • Perform comprehensive data analysis, drawing conclusions from findings and making recommendations for change
  • Support company's global stock incentive, deferred compensation, and other executive related programs
  • Support the development and updating of HR portal content and communications

Business Unit Support

  • Prepare compensation assessments, recommendations and related analysis for the Company's broad-based and executive populations
  • Assist with the completion of compensation surveys, dashboards and other ad-hoc analyses

Additional Work Items

  • Support special projects including due diligence and M&A support
  • All other duties as needed or assigned

Qualifications (Minimum Required):

  • Education level: Bachelor's Degree; Fortrea may consider relevant and equivalent experience in lieu of educational requirements
  • Strong results orientation and attention to detail
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to understand the business
  • Advanced excel skills

Experience (Minimum Required):

  • Minimum 5 years work experience in HR, compensation, finance, accounting or consulting, with at least 3 years as an analyst.

Preferred Qualifications Include:

  • Workday experience preferred
  • Stock plan administration experience preferred

Pay Range:$85,000-$110,000 USD base annual salary
