However, any non-permanent employee hired to work 30 or more hours per week for three months or more (cumulative of all positions, and not designated as variable hour worker), must be offered the chance to enroll in the High Deductible Health Plan, within 30 days of their eligibility. Any non-permanent employee hired to work less than 30 hours per week (cumulative of all positions, or designated as variable hour worker - i.e. student workers) are measured during designated measurement periods. If they average 30 or more hours per week over a designated measurement period, they will be offered the chance to enroll in the High Deductible Health Plan, and will be notified of instructions.

Nights and Weekends based on game day events.
Will work 40 hours a week regardless.
Pay Rate $11.00/hour ($18,500 salary)
Minimum Experience/Education
College degree or in last semester
2 years of experience in an equipment room
Departmental Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education:
  • Baseball/Softball experience preferred but not mandatory
  • Self-motivated, positive attitude
  • Willingness to learn and be coached
  • Proficient at multi-tasking, communicating, and managing people
  • Ability to lift 50lbs

Duties and Responsibilities
This position will be responsible for the day-to-day oversight of Baseball, Softball, Men's & Women's Soccer, and Men's & Women's Tennis.

  • Working with each team's student managers
  • Developing and maintaining inventories
  • Assisting coaches with practice and game day needs
  • Helping with ordering and vendor relations
  • Fitting and maintenance of equipment and apparel
  • Assisting with packing and travel logistics
  • Oversight of laundry
  • Other duties assigned
