• Prepare Press Operator with all essential needs, including tooling, to keep the press running for all jobs daily.
• Ensure job carts are prepared before orders are placed on the press.
• Stock the press with needed materials to keep the press running.
• Responsible for cleanliness of machinery and organization of the workspace.
• Perform routine material handling duties including, but not limited to, hand trucks. Move loads in compliance with safe practices.
• Work to sustain a clean, organized area by utilization of the 5S process. Cleans ink pans and ancillary equipment. Assists in the performance of all clean-up activities following changeover.
• Keep the press running while Press Operator steps away for lunch, breaks, etc.
• Work as a team to ensure production schedule is followed and quality checks are completed on a regular basis. May be required to complete associated documentation.
• Comply with quality specifications of the customer and company.
• Responsible for working overtime when needed and as assigned.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
