Essential Job Duties | Temporary research technician will work as part of team to assist with research focused on weed management strategies in vegetable and small fruit cropping systems. Areas of research include exploring diversified strategies such as cover crops, variety selection, crop and weed competition, herbicide efficacy and crop tolerance. The research contributes to sustainable agriculture and other innovative developments in weed science and crop protection. Responsibilities of the research technician are to assist in transplanting, data collection, study maintenance, and harvesting studies in the field and greenhouse. |
