Schedule: 12-hour Day Shift (Friday-Sunday 7am -7pm)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analyze products, raw materials, and certain packaging materials using established chemical and/or physical analytical techniques.
- Write or contribute to the content of SOPs.
- Assist with method validation and implementation.
- Provide second review of laboratory data.
- Facilitate OOS investigations and report appropriately.
- Troubleshoot analytical instruments, execute general/preventive maintenance, and perform operational qualification of lab equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized laboratory environment.
- Generate reports as required.
- Adhere to cGMPs requirements.
- Ability to perform test analysis using GC and/or LC instrumentation.
- Other duties as assigned by Laboratory Manager.
To be successful in this position the ideal candidate must be:
- Detail oriented
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Microsoft Excel - Intermediate to Advance user
- Comfortable working independently and within a team environment
- Prior cGMP experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Solid aseptic technique
- Willing to work flexible hours and/or overtime when required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry
OR
- Bachelor's Degree with 3 years of bench work in cGMP laboratory
- Lab Knowledge (college or work setting)
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction
- Schedule flexibility including on-call weekends
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Chemistry/Biochemistry
- 3+ years in cGMP laboratory environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedure in the field of chemistry
