Job Description
Almac Group is currently seeking a Health Safety Environmental (HSE) Technician for our Durham, NC. The HSE Technician will provide direct support of Health, safety and environmental obligations essential to maintaining compliance with established Almac initiatives and general regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Oversee residual, universal, biohazardous, and RCRA hazardous waste accumulation.
  • Complete inspections of associated Almac Business Units and approved contractors to assess the effectiveness of HSE initiatives against operational processes and staff.
  • Complete routine physical obligations associated with established HSE initiatives.
  • Support in the development and delivery of HSE initiatives and principles.
Qualifications:
Required Experience / Education:
  • HS Degree / GED
  • 2+ years practical operational experience
Preferred Experience / Education:
  • Associate of Science Degree - Related Curriculum
  • 2+ years HSE experience
  • Pharmaceutical / GMP background
  • 29 CFR 1910, 40 CFR, 21 CFR
