This position requires the ability to (this is not a complete job description):

    • Enter orders into the system computer daily.
    • Learn machine capability and capacity by product lines
    • Extreme close attention to detail
    • Computer Operation experience necessary
    • Maintaining and troubleshooting dye machines and process by monitoring computer screens.
    • Problem solving for machines, procedures, and system communications
    • Position will require learning all jobs in Dyehouse for backup and job understanding
    • Other miscellaneous duties as assigned by department management
    • Ability to distinguish thread color and thread types

    Safety:

    • Follows all Company Safety Policies

    Qualifications:

    • Physical Requirements:
      • Full use of extremities
      • Good dexterity
      • Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, lift, bend, kneel and stretch
      • Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs
    • Educational/Specific Knowledge requirements:
      • High school diploma or GED preferred
      • Technical background in textiles preferred
      • Ability to distinguish thread color and thread types.(color blind test)
      • Manufacturing knowledge/experience preferred
      • Ability to multitask with minimum supervision
      • Good problem solving and people skills
      • High level of independence, initiative and drive and be results oriented
      • Ability to make decisions and exhibit good judgment
