About the Department | NC State CVM prepares the next generation of veterinarians and veterinarian scientists, conducts bench and clinical research to solve animal and human health problems, addresses critical ecosystem and public health issues, helps protect the U.S. food supply, and promotes a clearer understanding and appreciation of the ramifications related to the growing human-animal bond that is at the center of these concerns. |
Essential Job Duties | This position will assist faculty with research endeavors through management of research facilities (monitoring equipment, assisting with warranties and service, and assisting with training). This includes maintaining records and tracking expenditures for specialized systems and supplies, assisting with faculty move-in and move-out, and monitoring biosafety issues. The person in this position will also maintain security system for College of Veterinary Medicine buildings. The duties of this position will include, but are not limited to the following:
