The Opportunity

We are seeking a distinctive leader to head up the Worldwide Education Sales Team in our Digital Media Field Sales organization. The candidate will bring sales excellence, execution skill, and leadership expertise to ensure healthy leading indicators driving to overachievement of revenue targets. You will lead across multiple geographies and cross-functional teams.

What you'll Do

As the Senior Director of Worldwide Education Sales, your primary focus will be leading a world-class, global sales team to achieve pipeline sales opportunity growth, achieve revenue targets, enhance customer success and engagement, and inspire teams to deliver exceptional performance while embodying the values of raising the bar and taking ownership of outcomes.

  • Lead and mentor impactful Account Directors through sales and account management motions, providing personalized coaching and support. Willing and able to jump in when needed with focus on empowering reps to be successful and self-sufficient.
  • Engage and orchestrate entire ecosystem team to drive consensus and action. Ability to influence cross functional teams such as Solution Consultants, Product Specialists, and Customer Success teams.
  • Lead large, complex sales processes internally involving legal, deal desk, product marketing, etc.
  • Act as the CEO of your Business. Scale processes of leading the team, deal inspection, and day-to-day support the team across the book of business.
  • Innovative and resilient problem solver. Ability to critically think and take charge on solving complicated and sophisticated problems/ blockers that allow Adobe to better serve our customers and get deals done at scale.
  • Articulate the Adobe story, outstanding value proposition and how Adobe's solutions align with customer's vision and address customer's business issue (e.g. return on investment of product).
  • Ingrain an environment of operational excellence with view into data, weekly pipeline growth, forecast, team compliance to keep account strategies on track and deals progressing with tenacity, accuracy and awareness of status.
  • Drive revenue and quota across Account Directors and ecosystem with a focus on sales process, repeatability, deal hygiene, and forecast accuracy. Ensure account and territory plans are in place.
  • Act as the executive sales leadership voice and representative for the DMe product portfolio across the field sales EDU team, leadership and cross-functional teams focused on Higher Education sales.
  • Foster a culture of execution within the sales team, promoting accountability, resilience, and continuous improvement.
What you need to succeed
  • 12+ years of experience leading and mentoring large sales teams, preferably in the education sector.
  • Demonstrated expertise in driving sales growth and achieving revenue quota targets both quarterly and annually.
  • Exceptional executive presence with strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate vision and strategy effectively and influence individuals ranging from senior executives/C-staff to individual sales practitioners.
  • Critical Thinking: Capacity to develop and implement sales strategies to achieve quota targets.
  • Collaboration: Ability to navigate within a highly matrixed organization, effectively collaborating across multiple teams, functions, and structures.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt sales strategies to changing market conditions and organizational priorities.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $250,500 -- $490,700 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
