Job Description:

The successful candidate will be a primary Management focal point for all customer or end user requirements directly in support of the Airborne ISR Division priorities. Shall also serve as the primary focal point and conduit for facilitating continuous system technology and mission execution requirements for the end user. The supported portfolio is distributed across multiple geographically separated sites in support of sustained global aviation operation network.

The key responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Primary focal point between the mission execution team and customer staff office to monitor routine requirement satisfaction rates and other non-routine performance metrics; generates formal reports back to AISR leadership
  • Serves as direct face to face and on-site conduit with customer staff office; networks and fosters trust across the functional areas and Integrated Product Team
  • Provide supervision and accountability for required deliverables set forth by the AISR leadership team; mentors and guides team members executing mission operations
  • Management of internal & external stakeholder engagements as a primary end user liaison; tracks constructive customer feedback, requests recurring de-brief sessions, and creates possible COAs to feed continuous performance improvement opportunities
  • Key advisor to AISR Division senior leadership and stakeholder in strategic forecasting

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or >8 years' experience in Global Enterprise Airborne ISR Operations (Manned and Unmanned)
  • 15+ years of experience in aviation defense Airborne ISR payload and systems integration, or management thereof for operations over land or sea
  • Demonstrated understanding of DoD funding, requirements, and allocations process, leveraging and prioritizing integration efforts based on customer needs
  • Self-motivated and free-thinking individual capable of independent problem solving, managing small teams or customer interaction
  • Demonstrated history of performing at the highest minimum standards maintaining diplomacy and mission accomplishment
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, schedule, and organize completion of multiple tasks simultaneously according to importance of projects or tasks assigned


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 15+ years' experience in Strategic to Tactical Airborne ISR Operations in a key management position
  • 10+ years of direct involvement of multiple ISR projects under rapid development and technology transfer
  • 10+ years of management experience in aviation related budget analysis and plan forecasting
  • Experience using Costpoint and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of DCAA Compliant Timekeeping Standards
  • Experience operating mission systems and other payloads as a part of an Airborne ISR team
