Overview

Responsibilities

Dismantles, moves, assembles, installs, and repairs industrial machineryand equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, drawings, or verbalinstructions. Dismantles equipment and machines using hammers, wrenches,crowbars, and other hand tools; moves machinery and equipment usinghoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks; assembles and installs equipmentsuch as conveyors and tram rails using hand and power tools; constructsfoundations; aligns machines; performs scheduled inspection andmaintenance. Sets up and operates machine tools and fabricationmachinery to rework or make new parts.

Duties:
1. Perform root/cause analysis in support of reliability processes,and collaborate with vendors, engineering, team leader, customer, othercrafts and management to solve equipment problems and develop correctiveaction.
2. Rework and maintain tools of all types and materials. Performroutine minor machine maintenance as part of their daily work duties(e.g., replacing machine filters, changing standard light bulbs onmachines and equipment, maintaining lubrication/coolant levels, etc. asrelated to basic Total Preventative Maintenance duties).
