Take the reins in a hands-on role where you'll create, store, manage design data and Bill of Material (BOM) information across the product development journey.

As our BOM Administrator, you'll manage the execution of engineering changes using Windchill, our product life-cycle management software. Your collaborative and communication skills will be key as you coordinate with engineering, supply chain, and quality teams, ensuring seamless processes and accurate information exchange.

Responsibilities

  • Review the engineering change report and complete process tasks.
  • Responsible for determining the effectivity date of the change by estimating the depletion of any inventory and a successful Phase In/Phase Out.
  • Manage on-hand inventory and open purchase orders per the change report.
  • Implementation and determine if items are re-work, scrap, or use "as is" product.
  • Support supply chain by evaluating on hand inventory and open purchase orders to determine the phase-in and phase-out periods.
  • Coordinate with Quality to scrap parts if the disposition calls for an immediate change.
  • Review current and past product assemblies to correct BOMs when needed.
  • Complete other tasks assigned as needed.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in manufacturing or mechanical engineering preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years' experience in a supply chain, purchasing, engineering, or other technical role within the manufacturing industry.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Adept in managing cross-functional teams for close and extended monitoring during changes.
  • Experience with Oracle R12 and/or Windchill task process preferred.
  • Data Management, Manufacturing or Order Management experience preferred.
  • Skilled in reading and interpreting drawings and associated documents preferred.

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements
  • Position based in an onsite office setting within our facility.
  • Capable of traveling up to 10% to other facility sites, as required
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee must follow OSHA guidelines to include wearing approved safety glasses, safety shoes (steel toe) and hearing protection entering the manufacturing and warehouse area.
  • US Citizen or lawful permanent resident as role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills; knowledge of industrial communication and protocols.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet/exceed performance parameters.
  • Must possess strong organizational skills, with ability to work on multiple priorities at once.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
