Position Summary
The Department of Radiology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking a fellowship-trained radiologist to join our growing Emergency Radiology Division. This position seeks candidates for a fixed-term, open rank faculty position. We welcome applicants who seek to join a vibrant, diverse radiology department who are dedicated to excellence in patient care, enthusiastic education of our diagnostic radiology residents and medical students, scholarly endeavors, and a collaborative environment with our interdisciplinary colleagues.

Candidates with experience and interest in emergency radiology are encouraged. This position is a second shift (4pm to 1am) or third shift position (9pm to 6am) on a 7 day on, 14 day off rotation. While on site work is encouraged for resident education, home work stations are available for remote reading.

Our division serves the mission to improve the health and well-being of North Carolinians at our UNC Hospitals complex, including a level 1 trauma center, a women's hospital, a pediatric hospital, a neurosciences hospital, and the NCI designated Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
MD or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
Preference will be given to candidates with with experience in emergency radiology. Preferred candidates must be familiar with common imaging modalities in the emergency department including, CT, ultrasound and radiography.
