Ready to explore an exciting career opportunity in Aiken, SC? We're seeking a dynamic Facilities Engineer who is ready to seize the opportunity today!

Salary: $100,000-110,000 per year

Shift: Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM

The Facilities Engineer will oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of buildings and facilities, including HVAC systems, chillers, process water distribution systems, scrubbers, boilers, plumbing, and electrical systems. Reporting to the Maintenance Department Leader, the Facilities Engineer will lead a team of approximately 25 or more.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine facility and equipment specifications.
  • Design and implement facility expansion, layout, and control systems.
  • Evaluate and optimize operational systems and infrastructure efficiency.
  • Plan and coordinate maintenance schedules and activities.
  • Supervise maintenance technicians and review their activities.
  • Ensure timely preventive and predictive maintenance on all assets.
  • Manage project budgets and oversee quality control.
  • Oversee service contracts and equipment inspections.
  • Maintain adequate parts inventory and order items as needed.
  • Coordinate and execute capital projects.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a facilities engineer in heavy manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and building codes.
  • Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
