Dealertrack is looking for a Supervisor for their NC, GA, and VA locations.

Supervisor, Business Services - Georgia, North Carolina, and Virginia

The Supervisor, Business Services is responsible for leading, supervising, and coaching their team to ensure the operation maintains compliance with company and state policies and procedures while maintaining a high level of customer service.

The Supervisor manages the workflow of an office in an efficient manner, maintains the service level agreements (SLA) of their customers, and allocates resources accordingly. Clearly communicates to their team on updates along with new procedures and facilitates weekly team meetings. The Supervisor, Business Services ensures the production team has the training and tools required to be successful, implementing a training plan and establishing team member goals.

This role is responsible for the execution of inventory audits, resulting in no penalties or minimums accessed by the state. The Supervisor, Business Services facilitates an inclusive, engaged environment, and professional culture and promotes team member growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Leads, coaches, and provides daily onsite support to the production team of Business Service Specialists
  • Resolves customer issues in an efficient manner with the highest level of customer service.
  • Addresses any team member performance and/or behavior deficiencies in a professional and ethical approach with confidentiality.
  • Creates and maintains an accountability culture, ensure any infractions regarding company and state procedures\polices are consistently addressed by providing additional training when applicable, and documenting these occurrences accordingly.
  • Provides each team member with quality performance feedback consistently and supports team member development.
  • An advocate for business growth and operational efficiencies
  • Oversees all office activities by making sure all transactions and status reports are completed for accuracy and meeting the service level agreements (SLA) of their clients.
  • Maintains inventory controls of license plates, registration stickers, registration cards etc.
  • Provides team member development plans, support, and training that is required for the

    Business Service Specialist to perform at their highest level.
  • Oversees the fleet processing.
  • Maintains all team members' payroll time and PTO (paid time off) reporting documents.
  • Ensures that the office is staffed properly and allocates resources daily, assigning tasks effectively.
  • Interviews and hires qualified candidates.
  • Collaborates with other departments within the organization, focusing on improving the overall client experience and\or operational efficiencies.


Travel - 25% splitting time between Georgia and North Carolina offices.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED and 5 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 3 years' experience in a related field; a master's degree and 1 year of experience; or a Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience.


AND

  • At least two years of experience in a leadership role
  • Dealership automotive experience, specifically the business office, or title and registration.
  • Proven record of effectively leading a project or team, successfully managing execution.
  • Manages conflict effectively, ensures accountably, develops talent, and builds an effective team.
  • Adapt and effectively lead change.
  • Assess and identify staff training needs.
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and written.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Require lifting >25 lbs.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates degree preferred.

USD 48,200.00 - 72,400.00 per year

Compensation:

Compensation includes a base salary of $48,200.00 - $72,400.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
