Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Training and Development Manager for a client in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing training programs to ensure the professional development of employees. The successful candidate will have a passion for learning and development and will be committed to driving the growth and success of the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement training programs that align with the organization's goals and objectives
  • Identify training needs through job analysis, performance appraisals, and consultation with managers
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify training needs and create customized courses
  • Design and deliver engaging training programs using a variety of instructional techniques and formats, including in-person, virtual, and e-learning platforms
  • Coordinate presentations, job simulations, and role-playing exercises
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements as necessary
  • Manage coordination and delivery of new employee training
  • Stay up-to-date with developments in training and development field
  • Develop career development plans for employees and provide guidance and support in achieving their goals
  • Create and maintain training records and reports

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree is required or equivalent expereince
  • Proven work experience as a Training and Development Manager or similar role, with the ability to manage a team
  • Strong knowledge of instructional design principles and learning strategies
  • Excellent communication skills and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport with employees and stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to design and deliver effective training programs using a variety of methods
  • Proficiency in learning management systems and e-learning platforms
  • Ability to adapt and learn new processes and systems
