Our utilities client is looking for an AWS Data Solutions Architect to join their team.
Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Pay Rate: $70.00 - $75.00/hr on W2
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be taken into account when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting is a reflection of a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided pay range.

Responsibilities of the AWS Data Solutions Architect:
- Drive the strategic direction for Digital application development and delivery to the Cloud
- Designing technology approaches that modernize clients' application stack
- Enable clients' agile teams to deliver with quality and speed
- Provide in-depth technical expertise on decisions about cloud migration
- Partner closely with Product teams to translate business requirements into scalable, flexible, and secure cloud solutions
- Architect and design C4 artifacts throughout the entire Digital space
- Encourage the establishment of high-performing and self-sustaining cross-functional teams
Provide technical leadership and guidance during the development, testing, and delivery of features - Review business and non-functional requirements to capture and understand project/product requirements
- Drive technology forward to match best-in-class Cloud technology organizations
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and at least 5 years of professional IT experience
- Experience leading and influencing individuals at multiple levels
- Experience with AWS Data Engineering spanning various AWS services
- Experience working with Terraform, Kafka and Real-Time Data Processing
- Experience with Python
- Proficient with SQL and Database Management Skills; AWS Data Lake, SQL Server/Oracle Data Warehouse
- Knowledge of Big Data Ecosystem: Hadoop, MapReduce, YARN, Hive, Pig, Sqoop, and NoSQL databases like HBase, Cassandra, and MongoDB
- Strong foundation in data engineering and ETL processes
