Essential Job Duties | The primary purpose of this position is to oversee a comprehensive preventative maintenance program at the NC State University Lonnie Poole Golf Course (LPGC). This program includes the diagnosing and repairing of failing equipment used in the maintenance and repair of the golf course, keeping records of parts and labor needed to maintain each piece of equipment, and placing orders for parts and supplies. This position must communicate any needs or problems relating to the maintenance or repair of equipment directly to the superintendent and/or assistant superintendent(s). This position is responsible for scheduling and completing the work assignments and must be able to prioritize assignments. This position places safety as a top priority and is responsible for maintaining a clean service area and maintenance building. Specific tasks and responsibilities include:
