The Role

We're looking for a customer-focused enthusiast to work in our Member Services Department as a Client Services Associate reporting to the Director, Member Services. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the execution of Curi's client experience and retention strategies, via the Member Services department for the mountain region -Utah, Montana, Wyoming, and Idaho. You will serve as a direct, internal agent for an assigned group of Curi MPL clients, which will be comprised of smaller practices and policies. In this role, you will serve as the primary liaison between the company and physicians and practice administrators within their assigned book. In doing so, you will work with key functional areas of the organization, utilize excellent communication skills, and maintain a strong product and market knowledge to ensure a high level of insured satisfaction, maximize policy retention and profitability, and promote utilization of company platforms, products, and services.

Key Result Areas

  • Acts as the primary company contact for their assigned policies with respect to the insured's overall relationship with Curi, ensuring that the client has a readily accessible and responsive representative for any of their Curi needs.
  • Manages and retains MPL policies within their assigned book and ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.
  • Prepares and presents renewal policy presentations to direct clients, educating them as to policy enhancements, coverage changes/interpretation, pricing modifications, etc.
  • Supports the Underwriting department in identifying and making needed or desired MPL policy changes. Similarly supports the Finance department with common client inquiries.
  • Manages the issuance and renewal of cyber-liability and/or broad regulatory policies to clients within the CSA's assigned book.
  • Ensures that all relevant systems and platforms utilized to manage and track activities related to Curi policy management as well as Curi's stewardship/relationship management strategies are utilized and maintained with comprehensive and current information/documentation.
  • Provides ongoing training and education to direct insureds to ensure they are knowledgeable about all Curi member benefits, our online client portal, new company initiatives and offerings, and our overall mission to help physicians in medicine, business, and life.
  • Creates and maintains consultative relationships with their assigned insureds to maintain a continuously open channel of communication, and to explicitly promote the value proposition for all Curi's enterprise-wide platforms, offerings and services, including those produced under Curi Capital and Curi Advisory.
  • Makes consistent business decisions, supports company underwriting guidelines and pricing philosophies and maintains collegial relationships with members of other Curi departments and divisions.
  • Stays alert for and advises company of any industry information, market intelligence, competitor products/services/strategic initiatives that could positively or adversely affect Curi. Also offers feedback on product enhancements that may resonate with our members.
  • Meets regularly and frequently with Business Development, Underwriting, Claims, Risk Management, Curi Capital and Curi Advisory to stay abreast of their services, guidelines, strategies, and initiatives, to adequately educate our clients and encourage deepened usage of Curi products and offerings

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent plus three years of customer service experience; OR
  • Bachelor's degree plus one year of customer service experience
  • Property & Casualty Agent license required or obtained within six months of employment.
  • Previous underwriting or account management experience within the MPL industry and/or in medical practice administration preferred.
