Job Summary:
The Reinsurance Accounting Manager will perform duties within the department primarily related to reinsurance. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely recording of data in the accounting systems, assist management and others in making educated economic decisions about the Company's future, and safeguard financial operations and assets by ensuring filing, reporting and control requirements are continuously met. Additional responsibilities include planning, analytics, resource management and ultimate accountability for functional performance results. The incumbent will be responsible for these aspects for multiple U.S. companies and will direct the work of one or more staff along these lines.

* Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related required; Master's degree preferred
* Minimum of six years of hands-on accounting experience with GAAP or statutory accounting required
* CPA designation strongly preferred
* Knowledge of insurance operations and/or specific functional operations is preferred
* Experience in a highly-regulated and/or financial services environment is preferred
* Prior management experience preferred
