What you will do:
The Chemical Process/Production Engineer is responsible for optimizing the operation of the departmental equipment, while making sure that neither safety nor the environment is compromised. The incumbent ensures that the quality and production goals are accomplished. Maintenance issues, which inhibit the efficient operation of the process equipment, are addressed either through modifications and the work order system or by requesting capital funds for improvements. Employee training must be conducted to communicate changes in operating parameters as well as dealing with newly installed equipment. The incumbent will also be responsible for the department material balance along with monthly and annual production forecasting/budgeting.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
