Summary:
The Certified Technician's primary duties will include sterile compounding of category 2 and category 3 products under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Additionally, this position will be part of the clean room sterilization team with a minimum requirement of 3 cleans per month. Working hours will rotate between days, evenings, and weekends.

Education Requirements:
* High school diploma or GED. Completion of an academic pharmacy technician training program preferred.
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
* Registration with the NC Board of Pharmacy unless enrolled in a PharmD program.
*CPhT from PTCB or ExCPT from NHA unless enrolled in a PharmD program.
Professional Experience Requirements:
* Prior pharmacy technician experience is preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:
Requires standing and walking for extended periods (most of an 8-hour shift). Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift. Must be able to reach over head to access shelved product or for cleaning.
