POSITION

You will Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees on employee relations matters globally, providing guidance and support to ensure fair and consistent treatment. If you are someone who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-evolving, collaborative environment, this role is for you! This role will be based in Charlotte, NC headquarters.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct investigations into employee complaints, grievances, and disciplinary matters, ensuring thoroughness, impartiality, and adherence to legal requirements.
  • Develop and implement employee relations strategies, programs, and policies to foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Partner with HR business partners, legal counsel, and other stakeholders to address performance review and management processes and evaluations.
  • Collaborate with necessary partners in managing reduction in force exercises.
  • Provide training and support to managers and supervisors on employee relations topics, including performance management, conflict resolution, and diversity and inclusion.
  • Stay abreast of changes in employment laws and regulations in both the US and UK, advising management on potential impacts and ensuring compliance.
  • Analyze employee relations data and trends to identify areas for improvement and develop proactive strategies to enhance employee engagement and retention.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism, always maintaining trust and confidentiality.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field; advanced degree or HR certification preferred.
  • 5-8 years of experience in employee relations roles within the financial services industry, with a strong understanding of both US and UK employment laws and regulations.
  • Proven record of accomplishment of conducting thorough and impartial investigations into employee complaints and grievances, with the ability to effectively manage complex and sensitive situations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to analyze data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
