Description and Requirements

Job Description:

As the Director of Product Marketing, this role is a key partner to our AI Center of Excellence (AI COE). This role drives Product Marketing direction, messaging strategy, and portfolio marketing for AI and technical solutions.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop offering marketing strategy and plans for a technical portfolio, including AI.
  • Drive product positioning strategy for existing and new innovation offerings.
  • Develop and evolve compelling narratives and value propositions of technical solutions (i.e. AI, Security, IT architecture, DevOps, AI-embedded solutions, ...) by focusing on specific technical features.
  • Lead the global introduction and rollout of technical solutions (launch and eventual withdrawal)
  • Support the AI CoE offering team's Marketing needs.
  • Partner with Offering / Product Management / Engineering / Delivery on roadmap prioritization.
  • Understand the technology landscape, customer requirements, usage, and buying behavior of a technical audience, as well as the competitive landscape - be the voice of the customer and the market.
  • Create and manage the Marketing budget (for the portfolio) and agencies.
  • Create targeted revenue-driving programs, campaigns, and marketing activities.
  • Create and maintain sales content, web, assets, materials, and other deliverables (whitepapers, spec sheets, technical guides, tutorials, ...).
  • Educate sales teams and business partner community about technical portfolio offerings.
  • Drive portfolio evangelization and amplify thought leadership.


Key deliverables:

  • Comprehensive Offering Marketing plans and enablement strategy.
  • Compelling value props, bold statements, and messaging differentiation (focus on business outcomes).
  • Launch and offering introduction planning.
  • Ongoing portfolio marketing management, and offering performance
  • Track, measure, and report on marketing activities and programs (ROI).
  • Geo activation.


Basic Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Marketing experience.
  • 5+ years of Product Marketing experience in technology services.
  • People management experience or leadership experience.
  • Proven experience in launching and managing a portfolio of technical offerings.
  • Deep technical knowledge with AI, Data Analytics, Machine Learning, or similar technology.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a global organization.
  • Experience in Product Marketing for a range of technical Solutions products with a focus on AI, Analytics, and/or Big Data, and in a "as a service" business model environment.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity and thrive in challenging situations.
  • Strong presentation and storytelling skills dealing with technical topics.
  • Strong writing, content development and editing skills with the ability to communicate simply and authentically.
  • Aptitude for technology and the ability to connect technical concepts with customer value.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in marketing, business studies, or an equivalent major preferred + technical studies or equivalent.



The base salary range budgeted for this position in CA, CO, Jersey City - NJ, NV, Ithaca - NY, NYC, WA, is $175 - $220k. Individuals may also be considered for bonus and/or commission.
