Job Description
Joining Collibra's Content Design team
  • We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated UX Writer to join our team
  • The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in English, Communication, Journalism, or a related field with 3 to 5 years of experience working as a UX writer
  • You have exposure to agile development environments and B2B SaaS
UX Writers at Collibra are responsible for
  • Exploring a range of writing options and employing different tones and aspects of Collibra's voice to find the optimal text
  • Collaborating closely with designers, product managers, engineers and other relevant parts of the organization (e.g. Marketing or Research) to design the best content experience for the target persona
  • Crafting clear and compelling content for the product and defining what matters the most in complex product moments
  • Staying updated on industry trends and evolving writing style guides as needed
  • Writing with localization in mind
You have
  • Exceptional writing skills with a focus on grammar, punctuation, and style
  • Expertise in UX principles with a strong grasp of design processes and methods
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma
  • Awareness of overlaps or dependencies between projects, with a proactive approach to resolution
  • Team leadership and mentorship skills
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent related working experience is required
  • This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship

  • Self-driven and Proactive - You can coordinate writing efforts and ensure project success taking into account a variety of stakeholders and timelines
Measures of success
  • Within your first month, you will learn the product landscape, key product personas and internal stakeholders
  • Within your third month, you will own the content design efforts for specific products / projects
  • Within your sixth month, you will help to expand the UX writing function within the organization, contributing to best practices and process improvements to make the team more effective
Compensation for This Role

The standard base salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year. This position is not eligible for additional commission-based compensation. Salary offers are based on a combination of factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skills, and location.

In addition to base salary, we offer equity ownership at every level, bonus potential, a Flex Fund monthly stipend, pension/401k plans, and more.
